AMERICAN GIRL: TEAM GIRL
American Girl has spent decades empowering girls with their products, stories and tools. But to the average consumer, they were only known for making expensive dolls. We wanted to start a conversation and get people to take notice of a brand who’s core isn’t about the dolls, but instead, is about helping to raise young girls into inspiring, smart, inclusive, strong, independent, kick-ass women. This was the launch of that campaign. Alone, every girl is powerful. But together we’re unstoppable. #TeamGirl

While producing this campaign with Director Ramaa Mosley, we had the opportunity to work with young girl filmmakers, editors and photographers (Adolescent). The following was a documentary we made while on set.

PACIFICO: ADVENTURES ON TAP
We were asked to create a Facebook community for Pacifico who previously didn’t have an online presence (yes, there was a time where this was a thing). And we used the news that it was now available on draft to start it.
Embracing the surf culture Pacifico was already known for, we assembled a cast of people and artists to hop in an RV and do an interactive road trip to hand-deliver the first 5 ceremonial kegs to their respective cities. The itinerary: Pacifico brewery in Mexico, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.
We relied on our Facebook friends (which grew by the thousands as we went) and people we met along the way to guide our journey, seeking out adventure wherever we could find it. And then we blogged our experiences as they happened. We called this journey ‘Adventures on Tap.’
As we finished each leg, we dropped off these 5 kegs (that we used as canvases to document our travels) at a designated bar. Once there, that bar hosted a party and ran specials of Pacifico on tap for the rest of the month.
For every user’s suggestion we incorporated, we took a photo of the crew with a personal thank you and tagged them.

CITY UNIVERSITY
City University offers campus and online education around the world. We were asked to help position them within traditional universities. What we came up with, was a philosophy we called Citywise: a blend of street smarts from life experiences and traditional academics.
So, we used contextual media placement to educate people in unexpected places – like this 8’ ant farm we dropped off at a Seattle airport gate.
